Piece of the Puzzle
Today I'm working on some planning and brainstorming.
I feel like I haven't done much the past couple weeks. But looking at it more objectively, I've created two composites, done some digital art experimentation, tried a new lens, photographed some stock, and wrote several blogposts that have yet to be published.
It isn't really that I haven't done anything, but I'm feeling that way because I haven't done anything to work on the new series since shooting some of the backgrounds and extra pieces I needed.
How often do we judge ourselves or measure our creativity by only looking at one piece of the puzzle? Would we be more satisfied with our creative lives if we looked at the whole picture?
Could we be more creative if we didn't waste our energy creating arbitrary barriers by counting ourselves out before we even start?
